  Yeah, be busy on Sunday night- the elders called me too a few days ago and I told them flat out I was unavailable to waste my time with them. You have nothing to respond to so why are you going to put yourself through some crappy meeting in your own home?

  Be strong and tell them you'll be busy at the arcade or go-karting.

  minding my own business while pumping gas - this 60 year old short jw lady with fluffed bun styled 60's hair and her 30 year old attractive 5 ' 10 inch jw lady partner came straight up to me as i'm pumping.

  Caupon, welcome. What can you do? Keep being as respectful as possible and at all costs try to avoid conversations regarding religion. She believes your lack of interest in baptism = automatic death by the man upstairs.

  Now although you might want to make her understand how you feel remember that these conversations will quickly lead nowhere fast and you'll be blamed as the bad guy. Try to be nice, love her, and take the rest a day at a time.

  I'd ask her why she acts differently towards you around the brothers, I mean can't Jehovah see her treat you with indifference at home?

  I told my wife that she was in a cult...

  ...it is not the first time i did this but from time to time when i get frustrated i tend to say things i later regret, like this.. she went to the meeting this past sunday and apparently she heard a talk about watching her associations.

  she told me that she was glad to have that talk because the message was timely for her.

  you see, the saturday night prior she and my kids were at her sisters house and her sister and friends suggested that she hang out with them sometime.

  hi all so my family had their c.a.

  last weekend and my mother dropped this one on me, she'll now be treating me as a df'd person per info she received from a talk at the assembly.

  apparently a fader should be treated as "bad association" given the fact they up and left the holy "truth" to splash around in vomit.. .

  tower attacking families to save ones from apostates

  i spoke with some one that recommends i step lightly for he said the tower may use there attorneys to attack me recommend to my wife to leave me (spiritual endangerment) and use their attorney's to then help her get complete custody of the kids.

  has anyone heard of these guys doing this?

  i don't doubt this guy former elder and bethelite and all, just wondering if any one here has experienced this or knows of this happening?

  Use their own money to protect or help one of their faithful followers? Highly doubt it, they'd never spend money on people that need it- that's not spreading the message of the kingdom in the least bit.
